Use a regular deck of cards - all 52 cards. Aces are high in Poker, followed in value by the other face cards. All the suits have equal value. Every poker player gets five cards, dealt one-by-one by the dealer. These are the winning Poker hands:
Ranking order
Royal Flush - The five highest cards, from 10 through the Ace, and all five being of the same suit. Two Poker players with royal flushes tie.
Straight Flush - Five cards of the same suit in consecutive numerical order (any five consecutive numbers).
Four of a Kind - Four cards of identical denomination.
Full House - Three cards of identical denomination, and any pair of a diverse denomination.
Flush - Any five non-consecutive cards of the identical suit.
Straight - Any five consecutive cards of diverse suits. Aces are high or low.
Three of a Kind - Three cards of the identical denomination.
Two Pair - Any two cards of the identical denomination, plus any other two cards of the identical denomination.
Pair - Any two cards of the identical denomination.
High Card - if there are no other hands, the highest card held wins.
Basic Rules
1) The poker games opens and the players open ante up with their bets in the poker pot.
2) The poker dealer deals five cards to each poker player.
3) After the cards are dealt, the poker players look at their cards, and the betting begins.
4) The Poker players can trade in up to a maximum of three cards from their hand for other cards. Players with an Ace you can trade in up to four cards, but the player has to show the other players the Ace.
5) Another round of betting begins. The poker players show their hands. 6) The highest poker hand wins the ante.
